The Solon Community School District is in search of a Family & Consumer Science Teacher for the 25-26 school year. The Family and Consumer Science teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality instruction in courses emphasizeing family life, child development, education, and other related fields including personal finance, etc. The ideal candidate will be committed to student engagement, have a passion for teaching, and possess the ability to foster a positive and productive classroom environment. In addition, the candidate would be responsible for Family, Career and Community Leadersh of America advising.

The Solon CSD is located in the heart of the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor area. The district educates approximately 1500 PK-12 students with expected steady growth over the next several years.
