The Solon Community School District is in search of a Special Education Teacher for the 24-25 school year. We are in search of highly qualified candidates who have a passion for working with students with disabilities, value collaboration with colleagues, and a strong desire to learn and grow as an educator. Candidates should have a valid Iowa Teaching License with appropriate endorsements required for the position or the ability to acquire the appropriate licensure and endorsements. This position requires a Strategist II endorsement. The district is offering a $2,500.00 signing bonus for any candidate with Strat. II endorsement selected for the position (additional information provided at the time of employment offer). Additionally, if a candidate does not have the required endorsement, the district will financially support the selected candidate to obtain the appropriate endorsements.

The Solon CSD is located in the heart of the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City corridor area. The district educates approximately 1500 PK-12 students with expected steady growth over the next several years.
